USA Track & Field Junior Olympic National Championships
 Seattle '98

Dear Friends of Youth Track and Field:

As you may already know the 1998 United States Track and Field Association’s Junior Olympic National Championships will be held in Seattle, July 27 - August 2.  The University of Washinton will be a vibrant and exciting venue for the championship meet last held in Seattle in 1984.  Over 10,000 young athletes, their coaches, and families arriving from all over the country will have an opportunity to visit Seattle’s many sights and attractions, and enjoy our excellent summer weather.

I encourage you to become involved with the National Championships as a volunteer.  We know that we will need over 500 volunteers to make this year’s championship a success.  Some of the tasks that people are needed for include:

• Prepare lunches
• Post results
• Provide on-field assistance
• Deliver drinks
• Staff information stations
• Supervise practice fields

Various shifts are available to allow you to help and still catch your favorite event or athlete on the track or field.  Please fill out the form(s) provided by the webpage links below, and return it to become a part of the 1998 USTF National Team.  If you have any questions, please call me.  I may be reached at (206) 684-7091.
